It’s time to find your joy again.

Jacqueline Rose, Therapist in Boulder, Colorado

You remember a time when being overwhelmed and anxious weren’t the “norm” … but those days feel like a distant memory. Don’t you wish you had the tools to change that?

I’ve got good news!

Hi, I’m Jacqueline Rose.

I help women with body dissatisfaction and perfectionism overcome their self-doubt and relationship anxiety so they can flourish and live awesome lives. I help folks, just like YOU, ones that have it within them to be more confident in life again, but just need the support to get there.

I help my clients:

  • find peace and confidence by equipping them with the tools they need

  • better understand themselves and their relationship patterns and dynamics,

  • be better at self-care, including speaking up about needs/wants/boundaries

  • feel confident enough to embody their authenticity.

Many of today’s solutions for women are to just “fake it til you make it” or to take that one-size-fits-all online course, leading so many to feel like they’re never going to be able to overcome their struggles or make them feel that you’re not doing it good enough because it didn’t really work.

I know that your circumstances are unique, so I work with you directly to get to the roots of the negative body image, perfectionism, low-self esteem, self doubt, and relationship anxiety, so we can process and heal these patterns that are holding you back. I work with you weekly, every step of the way to help you achieve your unique goals, and help with live a life that you love.

Our sessions will be held with a  mindfulness-based, body-centered lens, meaning I support clients in being present in their experiences, slowing down so they can listen to their body’s wisdom, and support them in getting deeply connected to their deep desires, needs, and truths.  Our sessions will support you in finding your authentic self, and help you move into an aligned way of living. I’m SO excited for you!

How I work

Therapy with me isn’t all sitting & talking.

We’ll also work on real, practical skills that you can apply to your day-to-day life.

Whether you’re dealing with negative body image, anxiety and overwhelm, trying to overcome perfectionism and self-doubt, or just figuring out how to do this whole relationship thing, we’ll find the right combination of methods that work for you. My work often includes:

  • Exploring and healing roots connected with negative body image struggles.

  • Practical tools for managing anxiety

  • Practices to calming your overactive mind

  • Building skills for listening to intuition and knowing so you can begin to trust yourself

  • Creating a plan to help your take care of yourself so you can be more grounded and relaxed

  • Practicing techniques for honoring your needs and naming boundaries.

So, Who are you really? And, why are you doing actually doing this work with women?

Well, I know this page is meant to list my degrees and credentials. I have those and I’m qualified to help, but this is probably not really what you’re really interested in. You’re like, who the heck is this person and how can they know what I’m going through? I see you! When I’m looking for a therapist, I’m looking for a real person who actually gets it. So, I want to just share why I’m here with here.

I love working with clients with these struggles because I’ve been there. I get it on a level I couldn’t without living through it. I've been in those tough spots too, those deep, dark places that can feel so overwhelming. I've found my own ways out, like having a personal map in my back pocket. But here's the thing – your journey is going to be your own. We won't just use my map, because what worked for me might not be the right fit for you. Just know, I've been there, I've made it through, and I totally trust in your ability to get through, too. You've got this. I’m truly honored to be able to be with you and guide you as you find your way out.

I've been in your shoes, and I know how hard it is to climb out of that tough spot. That’s why I really love working with women who are just fed up with feeling so shitty and are ready to do the work to finally feel better. Remember, I can't do the changing for you – that's a journey you'll embark on yourself. But what I can do is be right there with you, guiding you, offering a hand to help you back up when you feel it, and giving you 100% of my support as you make those brave changes. I’m SO excited to see you on this journey to feel f*cking great!

I'm the kind of therapist who doesn't just sit back, smile and nod. Instead, I'm right there in the trenches with you, sleeves rolled up, ready to tackle whatever comes our way. I’ve got a solid BS detector, and I won't hesitate to point it out. Expect plenty of laughter along the way – it's part of the process. And when it comes to discussing tough topics? Nothing's off-limits. Sex, money, shame, feelings of entitlement, even that deep-seated 'witch wound' – I've heard it all, and nothing shocks me anymore. After years in this field, I’m all about openness and honesty. Let's lay it all on the table. There's absolutely no need for shame here. I can’t wait to dive in and start this journey with you! Honestly, My heart feels so excited for you! I can’t wait for you to stand up so confidently and feel so good!
